How has the complete social reaction changed towards Conchita over the course of just 6 years! Even if eurovision was dubbed as a lgbt shrine for years, the effect of a bearded lady/drag queen was like a bomb dropping. Everyone was confused, unsure, disturbed. And just in 6 years, these lovely ladies watching her for the first time didn't even flinch at her appearance. I love it! Honestly, Conchita walked in 2014 so that every gender non-conforming individual in europe could run!

I'm from East Germany. This was the very first and last time I EVER call-voted in any contest. Ever! My son and I sat in front of the TV, with fake beards, cheering for Conchita, because she was what ppl needed to seeand hear!

i did a reaction video to this song and the official music video with my friends from college, and i still have it in my hard drive, i never upload it thinking it would fail and got dislikes because 2014 reaction was not really a thing in Indonesia until recent years lol..
