Thanks for watching and I hope you subscribe! I’m still figuring out this whole YouTube thing though, so comment if there are questions you have + videos you might be curious to watch!

I’m trying to post daily vlogs and have this be a place where we can talk more deeply about topics that short-form content can’t encapsulate in just 30-90 seconds.

Say hi on social @nadyaokamoto

Listen to Tigress, my podcast!

This is why we shouldn't be split up when we get the talk in school.

Guys should be educated on periods. It's a natural thing that most women go through.

C'mon you should AT THE VERY LEAST know what tampons and pads look like. This is embarassing. Not just for him but people who are educating people with periods yet they leave the other people out of it. They need the basic knowledge too!

My poor husband was so misinformed. Now he knows all the anatomy of a vulva, the labias, which set is called which, has got my periods down to a T, and is informed about most of this. Except maybe the tampon cuz I don’t use those but I’ve expressed interest in the cup so he might know about that one. He even knows to entrance of a vagina is not straight. It’s at an angle. So don’t ram your stuff in. He has only brothers.

How are guys so clueless sometimes on period items!!! 😐

The interviewer doesn’t know what he’s talking about either. It doesn’t say what type of pad & tampon those are. Could be light, could be super. Plus, it all depends on the menstruator’s preference. Most of these answers could be correct depending on the person

guys should be educated on periods too and we shouldn’t split up in school, its half the population so the other half should know abt it too

This is why i’m proud of my guy friends for actually asking, and wanting to be educated about menstrual cycles.

I’m a girl and got my period a few years ago. I’ve never seen or heard of an menstrual cup before. I’ve never had that talk with my mom or literally any other female adult in my life before, so I basically had to figure out everything on my own and I still am 😅

We didnt get split up for the talk in year 6 (I'm british but I was 10-11, so work it out 🙃), but this is my opinion on it. You can agree or disagree, this is just me saying how I feel:
We definitely shouldn't be split up to do the talk. That's just obvious. Like I said, we didnt get split up, no one else should. But, at the same time, it would be amazing (if at all possible) if there was a Male and a female teacher in the room, so you could ask questions to whoever. Also, we should be able to sit with people that make us feel comfortable. Because I was sat next to the really annoying class clown and all he did was pretend to be sick at the girl parts and die laughing at the boy bits. So yeah.

It REALLY concerns me that a whole lot of men know nothing about the "thing" they stick their "thing" into.
But it explains all the unplanned pregnancies and STDs 🤷‍♀️
Men, gay or straight, need to know women's anatomy.

But if your wondering what the answer is to the video, its answer 1. Heavy flow (or most flows) needs a pad with wings as they are far more secure. They are one of the most common sanitary product used next to tampons.
Pads without wings (also called pantyliner) will move all around and you risk leaks, so woman typically dont use them as often.
Women with heavy flow will also use pads and tampons/diva cups at the same time or even use adult diapers.
But if a flow is that heavy they should consult a doctor to ensure it's not caused by a health condition like entrometriocious or PCOS.

I'd buy #1 because it's a large comfortable pad with flaps

Y'all need to talk to the women in your life more. The answer is "ask her what she needs" and then take time to read the product packaging.
