I’m not a huge fan of these kinds of descriptor words. I feel like irresponsible breeders use them to try and make more money 💴 and promote breeding so small they dogs have health problems and labor issues. I am glad you address that there is no real tea cup ect. By anyone’s standards. I feel like a lot of people are not educated and get fooled by this. Thanks for a great video!

Sh! There's one in my bed right now trying to hide a Greenie. . He's quite wee, and in Scotland that's a good enough description. I had a Wee Aunty Molly and we didn't call her teacup. thank you for sharing this because I'm getting ready to get a Chihuahua and it makes sense to me that a smaller dog could have more problems because they are so small. So, I have now decided that I'll get a bigger one. It might be better that way and easier on the Chihuahua. Again thank you for sharing

They're overbred, mutated dogs that suffer from extreme health problems. Don't support those animal abusers and don't buy these dogs. Except if you want a non-stop shivering dog who's eyes are about do fall out

Completely agree with you! My Chi (Fiera) is a chocolate long coat. I chose her just because she’s adorable. She was the biggest of her litter… but then didn’t become a giant like I expected

AKC doesn't recognize this term. My Pepper Ann weighs 3 lbs. She is 8 years old. She thinks she is as big as my 60 lb. Husky/German shepherd. She is the boss.

My chi Zak is 4kg and leo is 2kg I was worried that Zak was heavy my vet said that he, s fine and healthy he, s a bigger chi Zak is 18 MTHS old and Leo is 8 MTHS old fantastic boys my vet says how well behaved they both are no trouble toilet training their very clever first time I've had chi, s always had British bulldogs and Scottish deerhound my Zak n leo apple heads really cute Zak is from England and leo is from Scotland where I live so glad I found your channel I'm a chihuahua bore lol x

Mine that I just got is 12.5 oz at 9 weeks. I’m a little worried bc I bought her online & was not thinking well at the time…she seems to have some trouble with her back legs 😔

No chi will fit in a teacup when fully grown. My chi is only 1.3kg and is tiny but who would actually want smaller than that? If you have a dog Gizmos size you have to be careful with them to keep them safe whether in the home or at the beach. Seagulls have been known to take them here in the U.K and I'm sure other large birds could too in other parts of the world. My chi is long haired but he still needs jumpers and a coat in really cold weather as they do get cold quick due to small size. My little boy doesn't have a bad bone in his body but some can act as if they are a large dog and become protective of their human companion.
