While I do appreciate the heads up regarding the SLL certificate, I had to laugh at your wearing a red shirt. As any Star Trek fan knows, a red shirt signifies that the person is expendable, most likely to die.

In a more serious vein, we do use InMotion Hosting and you were instrumental in our choice to do so. For me, this is an extra reason to be glad that we chose InMotion.

First off, thank you for all the videos and timely responses to the comments... I set up a ssl certificate using cloudflare with my wp website and installed the really simple ssl plugin with no problems. Where I ran into issues was when I was trying to add properties (https) to google search console and analytics. Any advice? I've read just about every article I can get my hands on and am not sure where to put these snippets in my database files.

Hi Adam, my host has told me that they can supply and install an SSL certificate but it would cos me £100 + VAT so £120. They will install one that I supply for £50+VAT as they have to supply a static IP. But what I wondered was whether a static IP was actually necessary? I host my sites with sitehq in the uk.

Thanks for this useful video! I have an SSL free certificate through my hosting and now I am going to add Really Simple SSL as you suggested in your How to Add SSL video.

If you have time to answer 2 questions, I would really appreciate it!

1. If I have free SSL certificate through hosting (Siteground) and the free version of Really Simple SSL, do I also need CloudFlare? Does Really Simple SSL negate need for CloudFlare, or do you recommend using both? (I see that free SSL and CloudFlare are good to have, but what about if I already have Really Simple SSL?)

 2. Do you use or recommend the Really Simple SSL Premium version?
