I have been a union floor layer for almost 25 years mainly sanding and painting basketball courts such as the Pacers Indiana University Butler University and many more. This is how we stain The three point areas and keys but we always use a dry one to go over it and never walk back into it once it is down. I also have my own side business sanding and refinishing hardwood floors in residential homes and I prefer to use a 9 inch paint pad and wipe off with rags. If you notice in oak flooring where you start the buffer it will take the stain darker and not look as uniform. At least you used painters tape Unlike the video I saw the other day. Much respect to anyone who chooses this profession as a career. Also with basketball courts they are always Maple and before we stain the wood we pop the grain by getting it really wet with water so that it will take the stain better. I never pop the grain if it is oak or pine.

Dark floors are all the rage but I don’t like that look myself.

У нас в россии завались леса, а подобных деревянных полов редко у кого есть. В лучшем случае ламинат, а обычно линолеум
