PS5: 5 Months Later Review

I have owned the PS5 for just over 5 months now, and in todays video I will be giving you my PS5 5 months later review. I will be going over various aspects of the PS5 during my review, including the PS5 console design, the DualSense PS5 controller, the PS5 UI, PS5 games and finally the PS5's storage. I have been as honest as I can during my 5 months later review of the PS5 covering various details, and I hope you find some of it useful. Just recently received my PS5 Console but am waiting for a Cabinet to arrive for both the console and my new Sony 65". Really excited. Can't wait to play Final Fantasy Remake: Intergrade. But also seeing my physical media collection in High Definition.

I have both a PS5 and Series X. Your point about the size of the PS5 was also an issue for me, and carries to the Series X: both are probably best suited to be vertical, and their space requirements remind me of a small PC tower.

I ended up with the PS5 in the living room and the X in the bedroom.

The two devices simply didn't fit together in the living room setup.

Fantastic tech from each. But the space requirements can be tricky, especially if you have both.

This is what I think.

In 2022 we are getting discord app on the ps store this will make it so much better for gaming more so when t comes to games that has cross platform playing.

It is big and I have the thing in the side before my tv, I’ve had only a few little issues here and there, but nothing that made me worry about if it was breaking or not.

The controller is to me the top 3 thing that makes this system a must have. Yes you can play this on pc, but until pc games also allow to use the feed back triggers, it’s just a 100 dollar controller that is good.

The only thing I don’t like the ps5 aa of writing June302021, there not a lot of games just for ps5 only, the only one I can think of the top of my head is Demons souls Rachet and clank and returnal.

just got my ps5 this week, very nice console indeed, just the number of new and interessting games is lacking at this point. also the amount of storage is to small and even with an extra m2 ssd you have to constantly switch you data between internal an added storage. the increased discless prices in the store are also to high in my opinion. otherwise the console is great.

it cant do 4k 120fps on newer games. old maybe 4k 60fps but thats it

12 hours my ass and I’m afraid to put the piece of crap in Rest mode, because on three different occasions it hasn’t come out of rest mode and I have to unplug it, or it won’t do anything. Duel sense a game changer? No. It’s a good controller. It’s comfortable and works perfectly, but I barley notice it beyond feedback during a game. Miles Morales and Spider-Man? They lock my system up so I’m afraid of them. I know I’m not the only one with those problems and now Sony has made it harder getting support forcing me to get a stupid Twitter account.

Out of the Xbox series s series x and ps5. The Xbox series s is the best looking console and very minimalistic. It can fit anywhere and is not noticeable vs the huge ps5 and Xbox series s.

I love the thing. Load time are much less now and ps5 games load times are almost non-existent

PS5 scales down the resolution in order to achieve 120 FPS. It is not capable of 4K 120. 1080p 120 or 1440p 120, yes. 4K 120? No
