A few mechanics you can use to your advantage:

Spawn chunks (like 16 in the immediate area around spawn) are permanently loaded

there are clocks you can make that you can set the timer for, albeit, with some math

Btw, to make an ender pearl stasis chamber in Bedrock Edition, just place a honey block across from the trap door and when throwing the pearl make sure it’s sticking to the honey hope this helps :)
