It's amazing how far Chris Pine has come since the countless rom coms. He really is a gifted actor. Furthermore, it's nice to see a medieval/historical battle setting again. Haven't seen that since the days of King Arthur, Last Samurai, Kingdom of Heaven etc. Looks badass :D

My favorite film Netflix has put out. Primarily due to the attention to detail and historical accuracy as well as the beautiful cinematography.

Loved it, it could almost be a direct sequel to Braveheart! That opening continuous shot sequence is incredible... I replayed it 4 times before I proceeded to watch the rest of the film!

Saw this at the London Film Festival last week-Brilliant movie which sticks to historical facts and is all the better for it . Great performance from Chris Pine-breathtaking scenes of the Scottish landscape and astonishing battle scenes....It's far too short though -it only goes up to the battle of Loudon Hill in 1309 which was The Bruce's first major military victory .I await the sequel Bannockburn The Final Conflict

This is probably Netflix’s best movie. It’s basically Braveheart 2. Amazing AAA feature.

This movie definitely deserves to be released on DVD and Blu-ray and shown on normal TV and a wide screen Cinema release too. A Bruce, a Bruce! A Douglas, a Douglas!
