Henry always finds the best driving roads and for this film he hasn't let us down. After having driven the 718 GT4 out on track it was time to take the Spyder version out on roads to experience everything it has to offer.

I honestly think Porsche nailed it with the spyder. It’s got that Boxter-esque shape and feel, but with subtle hints from the 918. I have no doubt this car is going to fare extremely well in the luxury convertible market.

Spyder for me please. Why not? No real compromise in comparison to the GT4 (for 99.9% of buyers that are not racing drivers!), but has benefits of open-top motoring. Stunning car. Great review as ever.

Agree, Spyder all day long. It’s a bigger step/upgrade from the 981. It’s really 2 cars in 1, now that it has performance and dynamic parity with the GT4. So will be great on track, but you have the beauty of being able to drop the roof. Track work, and then go home pick up the over half and pull up at swanky restaurant like a boss. Could easily be your one car to do it all.

1 minute into this video and I am reminded as to why Carfection is my favourite YouTube channel. The music and cinematics paired with the long drone shots and close up drivebys, as well as Henry's fantastic voice.... what more could I ask for?

I’ve been waiting patiently for this one & wasn’t disappointed. The quality of the videography is outstanding and along with Henry’s stylish narration, it’s always a welcome addition to my week’s viewing. GT4 vs the Spyder ? As a Cayman owner I’ve surprised it has to be the Spyder. The chances of getting one this year without getting “reamed” are not likely, but there’s always next year.
