10 Extra tips:
Dress in black (makes you less visible)
Listen for the enemy (and try to stay quiet yourself)
Aim, don't spray (missed shots are usually visible)
Eat a light snack beforehand (gives you energy, but don't eat too much!)
Count your shots (unless you don't have to reload)
Get a lay of the land (if possible)
Adjust your eyes to the dark (when it's safe, close your eyes for 20 to 30 seconds)
Use mirrors if possible (the lasers bounce off of these, causing confusion in your enemies)
Conserve your energy (catch your breath when possible)
Take the high ground (feel free to quote Star Wars)

Tip: pick red over blue. Red is a dimmer color than blue.

There's one tip that sticks out here. If you take out a wave in a cycle, remember the cycle, or you WILL get shot. Even then, don't stand near someone while waiting for them to respawn. Most laser tag arenas, Zap Zone included, have a split second when you respawn where you can shoot, but can't be shot. Learn how long that time is. Not only to know when to shoot, but how long you have before you're vulnerable.

Another tip: Evasion. When close to someone, keep on the move, try leaning in various directions. It'll make you harder to hit. This strategy can also work to not be shot by snipers.

When sniping, there's one main goal. DON'T be seen. When the people who you're sniping start shooting back, either head down and engage them directly, or change where you're standing.

The mian goal/mission is to shoot any blinking lights/person you see and to keep on shooting them until they are out of sight unless they are close enough to be followed. Also move around the map to other good sniping spots where your perfecly hidden. By doing so you will not be found and you will tag more people. It doesn't really matter if you get tagged your fine as long as you earn your pionts back. The best way to win is to get an many hits as possible so if you haven't seen/hit someone in the last 30 seconnds move too an place where there are more targets/people for you to shoot. Also if you see people comming your way don't run or hide just shoot them as many times as you can. They real goal of the game is to get/earn as many pionts as you can so remember to shoot anyone you see and not just the people who come your way. Yes that means people below you, above you even people on the other side of the map. So basicly hit any blinking lights you see as many times as you can and you will get in the top 3.

lmao first time i played laser tag everyone on my team including me didn't know you were supposed to shoot the light and we lost every round

The easiest way to hit many people is by hugging the wall. If the wall is block your vulnerable parts then there will be less parts to hit. Also its best to take cover. Crouch behind a small wall to decrease hit rate. 1 last tip. Laser is basically light. It is the fastest thing in the whole universe. So whatever you do never shoot in front of the target.

Never go around in large groups, even if you're playing a group game. I always go solo so you're less of a target, you make less noise and you're not seen as easily. If you go around in a group It's an easy way to be spotted with all the lighting coming from you.
