I got the silent treatment once for something she dreamed.
I loved getting the silent treatment, absolute bliss! 🤣

One of my favourites was I noticed she was giving me the cold shoulder.. This went off for two days!
I had racked my brain trying to think about what I had or hadn't done but couldn't come up with anything.

Eventually I got it out of her...

This is a true story.

We were on the sofa watching TV.
She was going to say something about the program.
She actually stopped and thought about it, then thought about what I might say, then that gave her the hump for 2 days!!!

Yep, she got the hump over something she thought I might say in response to something she didn't say, and she let it ruin 2 days of her life!!!

I'm a cat person but I found that funny.
Some jokes I can understand being told to apologise for but that one isn't one.

Age gap wise… I’m twelve years older than my second wife (first marriage just didn’t work out)
My dad and my mums age gap was about 18yrs (she was also his second wife)
A family friend started lying about her age, after one visit my dad turned to my mum and said “don’t you dare knock a few years off your age at any time, we may have been married for twenty years, but I’d still get in a helluva lot of trouble!”
