Bio: Leonardo Torres was raised Catholic and left the church at age 18 after being threatened to be kicked out for asking questions about the bible concerning his grandfather's death. He identified as an Atheist for 12 years and spent that time actively arguing with street preachers, witnesses and anyone else who brought up religion. At age 30, he had a strong encounter with God that made him drop his Atheist title and he became a free follower of GOD which he calls, "The Great Spirit". Taking God seriously and following Him wherever He leads him, Leonardo started this YouTube Channel reaction to music as a "Non-Christian" musician reviewing Christian music. Through the music and the stories he began to learn more about Christ and considers himself a Student of Christ. Whether that means "Christian" or not is yet to be determined, but this channel is like a lost and found for lost sheep, Leonardo's goal is to create a safe space where God can find those who are yearning for Him. Leonardo wants to remind followers of Christ to love one another as they were commanded. The main theme of this channel is "Spread Love", and that's what we do, we take the love that God has given to us and we spread it to those who need it.

One of my favorite songs. I remember sitting in a guard tower in Afghanistan and singing this song to myself every day. It was a hard time, but I would follow it up with your grace is sufficient. Great choice!!!

This song speaks so much to a depressed soul. My dad has BiPolar Depression and is in a constant state of struggle. One day he’ll be whole but for now, I try to point him to the God who can guard our hearts and uphold us in our suffering.

Different version than the single / album version. Also I think the lyrics are different slightly? Anyway it was a big hit when came out showcasing what Tenth Avenue North was best at: capturing, lyrically, what it is like when one hits the very end of his ability to cope (see also, "Hold My Heart").

Something, I suppose, now that I think about it, Red shares as well ("Not Alone", "Hold Me Now", "Coming Apart"). Although more thematically that we are constantly under spiritual attack ("Wasting Time", "Watch You Crawl") and feeling like we've lost, or given up ("Of These Chains") is not the same of actually being lost or separated from God, that He's always going to chase us down and meet us where we are (("Already Over", "Forever", "Lost")

Your comments and observations are spot on. My Dad chose to stop his kidney dialysis and go into Hospice. It was incredibly sad but also amazing to watch his transition. He was so tired, so worn, and so ready. I chose this song to be played at his funeral. Thanks again for sharing it with us.

Tenth avenue north changed my life with one of their songs. I fell to my knees and prayed. Thank you Jesus for your saving grace. For you alone are worthy to be praised. God brought me this song for the first time when I was in one of the darkest seasons of my life. My pain, agony and weariness was emotional caused by the ending of my marriage and what I thought was God’s will but this song helped me see that He has me and redemption will win. Please go watch the original version of this song with the tree. The video is so amazing...there's just not words to express it. Even if you don't do a reaction video for it...just watch it at least once. Whenever life gets too weighty I think back to the images from the video and it starts putting the pieces back together in me.
