I just bought an Oclean X Pro Elite. It's actually very loud.. around 70 dB when you use it to brush. It's only 48 dB when you hold it in the air, not against anything, like your teeth. The sonic meglav motor at 82, 000 or 41, 1000 movements per minute creates a high pitched sound, and at 70 dB against your teeth and gums in piecing.

When you hold it next to a dB meter, or in your mouth, sure its only 45-50 dB UNTIL you touch your teeth to brush. The sound is a loud 70 dB piecing high pitch sound. The same as when you hold the brush against a dB meter, or against your phone with a dB app. It registers around 70 dB, and thats what you hear in your head when brushing. I'll be returning mine for false advertising.

Also there are 3 intensity settings... 3, 2, 1 Not 32.
