Sync a SharePoint Calendar with Outlook

Hello, is there a way to sync the calendar with Sharepoint so that if I make a entry in outlook it automatically refreshers in Sharepoint?

What are the pre-requisites for this to work.  This process does not work if you have SharePoint  trying to sync to Outlook OnPremise.  Or could it possibly be a policy forbidding this.  The error I get is that "Outlook cannot add the folder because a new Outlook data file (.pst) file isn't allowed on this computer.Seems as bit of a failure if these applications don't work together.... just looking at the comments, there never seems to be an easy solution, its either tricky or needs coding....not ideal.Why not just have a shared calendar within outlook ??

Hi, great video. I'm in the process of allowing our staff to access the company's SharePoint calendar on their outlook calendar but before I do I need to know how to prevent staff from making any changes to the events on the calendar. Is this possible? I only want one or two people in the company to have the authority to make changes.

When I drag and drop an event from outlook calendar to sharepoint calendar (left to right)
The sharepoint calendar sync does happen on the site, however the previous entry appears as a copy below the entry which is entered now.. Any fix for this?

The video shows integration, not synchronization
