I think a lot of the reason why the Halloween hunting has been so slim over the last few years is because a vast majority of communities just don't even really celebrate Halloween anymore. I live in a po-dunk little country town and I honestly can't remember the last time I saw kids actually trick or treating.

Columbus local here, have not seen anything particularly interesting at the goodwills here but if you're in the area anyways a popular spot is the thrift store Out of the Closet!! Although last time I checked their Halloween collection was mediocre, so be warned

I live in Oregon and it'll be awesome. We used to have a magic store. I used to go to it all the time when I was a kid. They always had cool Halloween masks but that's long gone. I always thought it'd be badass to have a year around Halloween store that had everything Halloween. Masks, clothes, costumes, props, movies all kinds of horror movies. Not to mention shoes that are horror themed. Everything horror and Halloween
