Former filipinos? Is there such a thing? You can stay indefinitely because you have a philippine birth certificate which entitles you to a Philippine passport EVEN if you obtained a citizenship elsewhere. Immigration will not chase you because they are too busy with chinese bribes. Why do I know this? I have entered Philippines with a Canadian passport then left the country using a Philippine passport issued by DFA that which I obtained just using my NSO birth certificate and other requirements you can get inside ph. They cannot stop you from renewing your ph passport too if you have ph citizenship and didn’t apply for dual citizenship. I also have a dual citizenship which was obtained later but thats only because I was planning to work after retirement and come back to ph but it’s too much trouble for little gain.

How the process works for dual citizenship. She's filipino and currently living in the US and wanted to go back here in the Philippines, for good.
My aunt's issue was on her US passport she has just her married name - not including her maiden last name while in her phil. passport she has two last names, the maiden and married last name. Would that matter in the immigration? And which name does she need to follow buying a ticket?

After 1 year, if you want to stay longer, you can stay up to an additional 2 years as a tourist. You just need to keep extending like a normal tourist does, for 3 years total. 1 year Balakbayan, 2 years tourist. This is for those that qualify for the 1 year Balakbayan privilege

Once my year stay is up for balik bayan and leave the country, can I come back the next day to the Philippines and my balik bayan resets another year? Or do I have to wait certain time before I can comeback to the Philippines and avail my balik bayan visa for another 1 year? Please explain and thank yoy for your help.
