KDE's Kdenlive makes use of MLT, Frei0r effects, SoX and LADSPA libraries. Recently got this software version 22.08.2 It really is a great software and not complicated to learn it.
The interface seems to have changed from earlier versions and the method of doing things may have changed slightly from earlier videos.
I really pleased I can turn out professional looking videos without a lot of effort. 😁👍👍👍

Hello, I need to say that I'm a complete novice when it comes to editing videos one of the main problems in trying to teach anything is and I'm the same with showing people how to do things with a computer and getting it to work properly is that we know the item we are using to teach people and thats a downside because we work to quickly and the person learning is lost.
What I need is for someone to do an idiots guide in video editing sort of get your clip into the editor and then hit X button to bring up something and so on then the person learning can learn at a slower pace but get it correct because they have a chance to go over the little bit of information they are going to learn until that part is OK, I hope you get the gist of my comment.

I have a problem, the sound from the sound clip isnt coming out from my title clip somehow? Is there an only to make it work? Should i delete the title clip, in order to function enough?

I'm not a developer but a content creator. The one feature that caught my attention is the speech-to-text feature. I know Kdenlive is a free software. And I know freeloaders need not be choosers. But the developers should have baked into the installer all the necessary components to make all its features run flawlessly for minions like me. What do I know of python and coding - nothing. And even if I manage to install it there are still nuances to be done to run Kdenlive features at 100%. I might as well study Python if ever it has to stay in my PC just to run Kdenlive. Lastly, I think the necessary process to install Kdenlive to run flawlessly should have been included in this video.
