Pulsejet

This is a Hobbyking Red Head pulsejet, which is a modern copy of a Dynajet from the 50's. They were used on model planes, boats, and cars. It runs on gasoline.

The jetting seems off. It's hard to start. It will pop on ignition, but the torch helps.

I drilled the jet a few thousandths bigger but I think it might still be lean. It seemed to run better after I lower the front, which decreases the distance the fuel must be lifted, thus richening the mixture. Still working on it.

Finally runs at the end; I only let it go 10 seconds.
