Yes, you have some good prospects there. But if you think Sharkpoint outside Long Beach is the best snorkeling destination in Thailand, you have not been many places.😎

I found Loh Bakao, Loh Lana and Laem Tong to be the best parts of Phi Phi (north part of the island). There is a lovely little village at Loh Bakao bay (at the back of Saii Phi Phi Island Village resort). I recommend Camel Rock Bar and Buffalo Head Bar for drinks and 'Pad Thai' restaurant for eats. These 3 areas are not for party animals...they are for people wanting rest, relaxation and magical bars at night. If you're a party animal, go stay at Tonsai. It still has long beach which is lovely and you can party at night. Phi Phi Don has something for everyone. It is my fave place in Thailand
