Cat whose disappearance sparked outrage returns home

The cat that had been missing since it was abandoned outside the Saratoga County Animal Shelter has been found.

The deli owner is an idiot. He was worried about one thing hurting his business, so he did the dumbest thing possible and did even more damage.

Cat "was a gift to her son from her late husband"... omg. 💔 Thank goodness nothing happened to him; the store owner (who should be charged) would have that community out with torches and pitchforks! Hope Kane lives a long, UNEVENTFUL life. 😅

To many animal abusers out there, keep him inside if you love him! Take him out on a leash if he wants to go outside. It’s your job to protect him!

My evil father would have dropped him off in a field. He says that coyotes need to eat, too. He doesn't care if the cat is a beloved family member. We didn't know it at the time, but he did that to several of our cats when I was a kid.

I've had cats all my life and still do. Kane looks extremely happy to be home. I suggest they keep him in to prevent any further disappearances.

One of my cats was indoors/outdoors. He's only indoors now. He disappeared 2 times. Didn't want there to be a third. Took him a couple of months to get used to the fact that I wasn't ever going to let him out anymore. He would scream and protest 😂 but now he's a little couch potato. 2nd time I was so worried, he was "only" gone a little over 24 hours but came back in shock, he slept for another 24 hours almost. I thought never again. Keep your babies indoors! ❤ not worth the pain of losing them..

My dad told me you can judge a person’s character by how they treat animals. Anthony Gargano left Kane out on the streets beside a CLOSED shelter on a cold night. He is not right in the head nor heart.

So glad the kitty is home again! He obviously feels safe there. Keep him inside! If he has to go outside then use a harness. Kitties claws will not save him from car tires. Life expectancy is 75% higher for inside cats!!
