if Steve cut his beard and left only his mustache, then they look like "Mario and Luigi, not as plummers, but as Tech Reviewer" (sorry love you guys both )

I love how carefully you word anything you say regarding the Zen 3 parts. "What are they rumored to do" "If it's anything like that" The man can Talk the Talk.

Ryzen 3600 beats 2700 in most things. Why don't people think 5600x can do the same thing to 3700x?

What happened to monitor Steve? He looks very saturated, I am concerned.

Ha! Flight Simulator is an example of Cloud Gaming done right. Get it? 'Cause you're literally into the clouds.

I don't care if a game has died out for lack of interest. If i want to load back into a game i loved years later, if the game depends on an external server despite having everything locally, and they killed the server - it's either theft or vandalism. They're taking away property their customers bought legally.
Games shutting down because of centralized server dependency is worse than programmed obsolescence. It's programmed incompetence.

You guys absolutely nailed the answer to the question about comparing the 5600X to the 3700X. I loved it.

When Steve accidentally spits out a whole bunch of pre-review information on the new CPUs but Tim adds the "based on AMD's numbers ofcourse" disclaimer as a gentle reminder. ^^

I paid $158 for my 3600 back in July right before Amazon raised the price back up to $200.

DLSS *WOULD* be a selling point if they pushed for lower-end systems to get more fps at 1080p instead of 60fps at 4k and 8k.

I had a 3700x and now I have a 5600x. I haven't noticed much difference in any games or every day use. My forza and valhalla benchmarks remained the same. (1440p/rtx3080)
One thing to note is that the 5600x overclocked MUCH better than the 3700x. I got a 4.8 ghz all core OC on mine

Ryzen 3600 often gets discounted to ~155 Euros including 19% tax. I can't see any CPU catching up to it anytime soon.

144hz has benefits outside of gaming that I hadn't even thought of. Scrolling down through websites just as one example, its so smooth. I found I had a LOT less headaches sat in front of a screen all day working and much less eye strain. I've never heard mentioned on any review back then or since. People will spend 100 quid on a mouse or keyboard then run an old 60hz laggy panel. Monitors are vastly underrated in the PC experience, having a good one will last you years through multiple PCs. I'd never go back even if I never launched a game again.

10600k vs 5600x. That's what I'm more curious about. Both are 6C/12T. Really excited about the becnchmarks on zen 3.

I remember when the original Bioshock came out, the big scandal was the Securom anti piracy software they used that would limit your number of installs. I bought the game anyway, and it became and still is one of my all time favorites. People complained for a while, and some patches were issued to change the way Securom worked, but it mostly all blew over. About a year ago, I put together a retro pc to play games from that era, and was really looking forward to playing Bioshock. Low and behold, it no longer works because it can’t authenticate with some server that it calls for that is no longer operational. After several weeks of back and forth emails with 2K tech support, the solution is that the game no longer works, and I can just repurchase the game again on Steam. Why should I have to do that? It’s not a question of if this digital way of doing things is going to bite you, but when.

People normally over simplified cpu performance. In my grad class on parallel programming, our first assignment was to get a program that multiply matrices, single threaded, using "100%" of that cpu thread, to run 3-4x faster while not changing the algorithm and still going single threaded. Most of the performance gain came from how we access the cache. And we had to do this on two different Intel CPUs, and the same program gives completely different results on the different CPUs. With how common matrix multiplication is in any game/AI program, you can imagine how a program optimized for a cpu perform on another one.

I have a feeling that @19:41 Steve slipped and said something NDA covered about the Ryzen 5000 series, then it was edited later.
