Thanks for the video. Teams is not included with any of ms365 license package since mar 24, and I think teams phone standard is also not included with E5.

You mention CAP (Common Area Phone) license for Conference Phone. This is false as of September 23. MS broke the ability to assign the IPPhonePolicy that sets MeetingSignIn mode. CAP makes the phone basic dial tone only. No calendar, no join button for scheduled meetings.

it seems cheaper to just get an on-prem phone system and done.
if you add up all that cost, plus your m365 cost.

Doesn't MS host phone service? I certainly don't want to pay 2 bills if I don't have to.
