It depends where you go in the U.S. everyone
has a diffrent way of saying differnt words for example if you go twords the citys you tend to hear more “like, and then, um“ if you go more into the Country thats when you start to hear “y’all, yes ma’am“ this is just from my experiance

Americans mainly drop the hard "t" sound because it is easier and more flowing not to pronounce it. Thats why the first "t" in words like "internet" are dropped, because we don't like breaking up words with a hard "t" sound.
