Today we head out into Nez Perce Valley in Way of the Hunter, and manage to take down 2 of our best trophies yet! A 5 star moose and a 5 star elk!

My game I tested a herd of mule deer, 3 one star young bucks 5 doe. Checked on the herd each day, spotted then slept for 24hrs/repeat, until the fourth day when I found they aged to adult and racks had slighty changed/grown! Hope that helps anyone curious about the herd management age mechanic.

Didn’t find your channel until looking up this game for review and gameplay, but since then I have bought the game and have loved playing it since, got lucky within the first couple of hours and the first whitetail deer herd I found, I ended up finding a 5 star whitetail and taxidermied him👍🏻

I have never seen mountain goats and that elk lake. Love to manage that herd as the camp site is just next to that lake.

Awesome bulls 👀 congratulations!! That moose tho! I agree that whitetail was most likely pretty old-personally I just don’t shoot 4 stars. I’m happy if they grow or pass away naturally as a 4 star at that point. Looks like you’ve got some nice genetics out there!

I shot a 5* moose yesterday that scored 481 with the 7mm which made me nervous cuz it’s not a tier 6 rifle but I made a good shot and it stayed 5* so I was hyped. Then got a 5* 🦆 shortly after. Was a great hour for me lol

When I see a 4 star and want to Remember where it's at I use the map and place a tracking marker. Then if I kill it or it dies first I remove the marker

I just made my first 697m shot. I blew the knee cap off an elk I hit it 5x from 700m to 100m a 450m shot hit it's lungs and didn't X it.

Then I called it in pinged its heart it ran away I saw it fall over into the water. But when I got close it jumped up and ran off again. I quick fired at its head to be sure and it finally X'd out.

I took my first 5 star elk doing the heart shot a elk under 109 yard got them in to 27 yards and dropped in his tracks that was truly a awesome thing to happen
