making a simple angular cup out of clay

A quick look into the throwing and trimming of a simple angular cup.

This is a shape of cup I've been making ever since I started working with clay, around one and a half years ago. Although I have a repetitive design I usually make, this specific cup was made during a freestyle throwing session, so its proportions are a bit different than usual. Ultimately, I find it a valuable experience to keep experimenting variation on the work, as small as it may be.

The discovery of new and exciting things to work on and think about can only occur when you let yourself roam free into the realms of any given craft.
