Lexus ES LED Tail Light Bar Installation HOW TO

In this video I show you in a very detailed manner how to install a rear LED light bar accessory in your Lexus ES. This applies to 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Lexus ES250, ES300h, ES350, ES300, ES200 models around the world.

Some newer Lexus models have a full width LED light bar, however the ES does not come with that from the factory. This product lets you get that newer look.

This accessory has an animated mode upon startup, and has an animation when the left or right turn signals are activated.

Looks great. I feel like most auto manufacturers spend so much time designing the front of the vehicles that by the time they get to the back they're like "oh shoot" and you just end up with two generic tail lamps. As designers they can literally do just about anything with modern LED arrays after complying with the basic regulations.

Nice change. The new Lexus IS with the LED light bar definitely makes it pop at night, and strange why the ES never received the same treatment since the new NX & RX both have this feature. This upgrade you did should honestly come as factory standard.

The animation feature is awesome. My Audi has the Matrix LED options checked and it does it from factory. It is a somewhat gimmicky thing, but everyone who seen it was wowed & definitely increases its presence.

I got the blacked out set. Followed the install to a T, and it came to life.
One thing I do notice is that the dynamic blinker L&R...are short. They do not emit from the center of the trunk out. Have a message to Manufacture to see if there's a fix.

I do have a question… if you were to wire up the long red wire on a 2023 Lexus ES 350 F Sport. The battery is in the engine compartment. Would you go through the interior to the fuse box and tap a fuse? Or, would you go through the rubber grommet at the bottom of the trunk and run it under the car to the fuse box?

I don’t have a lot of experience with the Lexus brand and thought you may have a suggestion.

Did you end up getting rid of your LS? How do you like the difference/ size? I have been spoiled w my last gen LS in the LONG version...which is a real treat. Hate that you cant tell the diff between the LS and ES anymore without studying. Curious your change/ feedback. Great channel!!

I’m gonna get this soon on my car I’m don’t want the turn signals wired but I want the hazards would that be a problem?

Also I see you have ambient lights on your car is the thickness and brightness much brighter than oem?
Cause the oem is a size of a toothpick and the brightness is a joke.
