Installing Adorn Mortarless Faux Stone Veneer

We are installing a mortarless faux stone veneer product in this video, which makes it a lot easier and faster for us to install. It is starting to get very cold here in New Jersey so our typical stone veneer which needs a mortar bed is very difficult in the colder weather. This was our first time trying this product, check out the video to see what we think!!

You guys do a great job. It’s awesome you are always looking to use new products and do new things.

Great job. Should use full thread screws for the stone though

Great job and looks awesome. I'd be curious what the long term performance of this product is like. Always weary of new products that are quick install versus traditional mortar, lathe, and natural stone. I am not convinced these could withstand the freeze thaw from the extremes of midwestern weather. Perhaps future video with an update, after a few seasons, on performance of the wall would be great!

Can you share a cost break down for materials or the square footage you covered here?

You guys do such quality work, I’m curious to know why you would use such a low end material. The faux stone is terrible quality and looks cheap. DR Horton used this product on the front of my new house and it looked so cheap. I ended selling the house before I even lived I it.

It’s a 4th degree felony to contract electrical work without a permit and an electrical license in New Jersey.

Junk product.. Expensive and poor color retention. Also every type insect will build nest behind the panels as they can’t be held tightly against a wall.. Just use mortared stone, you will never be disappointed with the finished product.
