I was at the event at UA, and stood next to Shermer and the lady after the event ended. He calmly explained to her why her technical arguments were incorrect for about 10 minutes. After that was done, I told him that it was amazing how he just nicely "debated" her, and he was like "yep, that is all you can do". Glad to have seen Rubin and Shermer at their best during and after that event.

My wife likes the gray, bit I am buying some anyway and letting them know it was your show that finally did it for me. ☺ Also am getting around to the Patreon. I respect the heck out of you Dave, which is why I am going to pay you a complement of suggesting that you should have Dr. Tim Keller on your show. He wrote the New York Times bestseller the Reason for God, Making Sense of God, Generous Justice, and the Prodigal God. I know you’re firmly in the atheistic stance, but it would be refreshing for you and your audience to listen to such a humble man give his reasoning..

On Aubrey de Grey - he himself states it's imposible to reverse or stop aging at the moment, merely that it should be possible in the future. They do legitimate research on the mechanisms of aging, to lump them in with the likes of Deepak Chopra is just extremely sloppy.
