Got mine a couple of days ago…heats up a lot under normal use I find. To the point my screen had to dim down. Hoping it’s a software thing but not impressed, anyone else got this?

1x lenses is stupid, you need 2-3x to get equivalent to "human eye".

They sacrificed the 2x and 3x lense in favor of 1x. And added a ultrawide 0.5x lense lol.

Personally I felt it worth the upgrade because I went from a iPhone XR to a 16 Pro. The physical form factor isn’t much bigger but the smaller bezel makes the screen feel huge, and it obviously trounces my old phone in terms of performance and camera. I personally wouldn’t upgrade 15->16 but it’s a huge upgrade for where I was.

I’d have to imagine the average consumer is more like me, upgrading from a 12 or newer to something like a 16.

3582 mAh will deliver piss poor battery life after 18-24 months of ownership once the battery degrades to the 85-90% range. I don't really care about Day One of Ownership rundown tests. How well does it endure the test of time. The case for larger batteries is strong not because it's needed on day one, but because it's needed on Day 638. That's when the bigger batteries in some other phones really flex their muscle.
