Such a fantastic video! I have enjoyed Tom's work for years, spit my drink out when he said that he was drawn to Paganism but did not want to be a Pagan because Pagans are cringe. That is the main thing I have struggled with whenever I feel drawn to Paganism and meet local (Pagan Wanna-Be's) and then I promptly need a shower.

CS Lewis was way ahead with "The Abolition of Man." Be careful of electronic copies as some are corrupted. Inly was altered to only in this phrase -- "Instinct, by the inly known reality of conscience and not a reduction of conscience to the category of Instinct." -- obscuring Lewis' point badly.

The part where he talked about it all being the same gods but interpreted differently by different peoples really resonated. It was a conclusion I had come to on my own a while back. The divine is beyond the understanding of mere mortals, so it stands to reason that we'd all encounter it and have vastly different takes on it, while all connecting to the same higher existence. That realization does make it more difficult to settle into a specific theology though, especially when you're currently spiritually adrift.
