Hey friends! In this video I make a budget friendly Thanksgiving dinner using only ingredients (minus spices and a little oil) from the Dollar Tree! It was maybe my favorite Dollar Tree Thanksgiving meal I've done and I'm excited to share it with y'all!

*The Dollar Tree isn't always the best value compared to places like Walmart or Aldi, but these videos are more about accessibility and getting creative with a limited grocery selection.*

Being English I don’t even celebrate Thanksgiving but I always really enjoy these yearly videos.

If you ever have a slice of bread and a cup of milk, you can make a white gravy. It's simple, heat your fat, any kind, and add a cup of milk while the milk is heating up shread and crumble the bread into crumbs as small as possible. Put the bread crumbs in the milk mixture and whisk in and continue stiring until the gravy smooths out. Salt and pepper to taste. It is quite easy. If you want a meat flavored gravy, you can use part broth and part water. For each slice of bread, you need about a table spoon of fat and a cup of liquid. If the gravy gets too thick, i just add more liquid.

I made your pumpkin parfait - of course, I had to try one to make sure it was "safe" for my family to eat 😆 🤣 😂. 10 out of 10! Thanks for your inspiration!!!

Lisa you should be very proud of yourself- you are a very good teacher and an excellent, instinctive cook! There is not one thing the matter with the meal you showed us today. All of your recipes can be made with less processed ingredients (if someone is blessed enough to have access to them) but inventing all this with a limited budget from a limited food source is truly a talent! Thank you!

That all looks really great! It's now a tradition to have the Dollar Tree Thanksgiving before the big event. Thanks for keeping it going!

If anyone lives in the Midwest & has a Meijer grocery store can get all the Thanksgiving fixings for about $25. I got a whole turkey, stuff for green bean casserole (includes crispy onions), mashed potatoes & gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, a pumpkin pie & whipped topping all for $25.19.

Thanks for another Thanksgiving Dollar Tree Adventure!
I personally love these because as a family 2 we don’t need a full traditional meal with leftovers for weeks. These give me ideas to have the flavors of the holidays with some leftovers but not too many.

We had ham this year but the last couple previous, I had the bright idea to fake turkey and dressing with a Walmart rotisserie chicken, picked apart and put in the dish, stove top stuffing with egg & celery included, and 2 packets of turkey gravy. That gravy is turkey flavored enough nobody knew they were eating a rotisserie chicken. Spent about 20 bucks for 4 people instead of 20 bucks on a turkey lol

Thanksgiving 4 people

Walmart
Rotisserie chicken - $8
Walmart mini pies 50c ea x 4 -- $2
Turkey gravy x2 - 80c

Dollar Tree
Stove top - $1.25
Mashed potatoes - $1.25
Cranberry - $1.25
