His answer is rooted in a human understanding of simulation . This could very well just be a creation for the purpose of fun or for no purpose at all. Most likely a purpose beyond our current comprehension

If you don't live every day in awe of the fact of existence itself (the fact that there is something rather than nothing) and consciousness, then you haven't given it enough thought.

The problem with the simulation is who created the simulation and how did they get here. It’s a never ending question.

You beat the simulation by this: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

If time is a construct of our Universe and God exists independently of that, then he does know what's gonna happen.

Could just be a huge art project by some 12 dimensional nerd.

Here’s a thought: If there was a super being running a simulation it doesn’t know what is going to happen.
BUT if it runs it again with the same conditions the simulation is supposed to have similar predetermined results .

I think it's a test for ourselves, I think God definitely knows the outcome.

It seems that any imaginable answer to the what/who is God question is either an infinite loop or something we simply can't comprehend. And we're just unwilling to accept that something could come from nothing.

This only applies if we assume the simulation creator has a same level of consciousness/understanding as humans do. Ideally on paper this makes sense to humans, but what if the simulation creator has wisdom or intelligence that our brains are not capable of understanding? Who are we to limit its possibilities? We know a fishbowl of info compared to the vast ocean and space our creator would have. Our attempt of understanding the 4th and 5th dimensions and quantum physics proves that we know nothing.

You are a phenomenal interviewer. You know exactly when to ask a question, exactly how much time to leave for the answer, its perfect.

A simulation implies that the human experience coexists outside of the "simulation." The simulation would then by definition be simulating a subset of the behavior of the people who made it. So, in other words, the simulation is a recreation of the species that created us, and is limited to some subset of behaviors that the creators exhibit. This then implies that humans lack some fundamental characteristic of the simulators. The most probable lacked characteristic is the ability to break through the simulation or exit it. If we assume WLOG and coherence of ability, this inability to "break through the simulation" is due to some "bound." The bound in my opinion is the bound on time and space. Thus it takes too much "time" and there is too much "space" to break out of the simulation. Because of entropy, errors do indeed happen within both our simulation and base reality, which then also means that time and space aren't closed systems.
TL;DR: We live in a simulation of either more simulations, or more universes.

I think the Supreme Self is running this simulation to know Himself. He designs and execute storylines which gives context for Him to manifest good meanings, He manifest himself by radiating meanings from the abstract realm. Our job is to navigate these meanings towards Him. We are at our core a self who doesn't know himself, in other words have forgotten himself, and by figuring out who we really are, through navigation of this hierarchy of meanings towards ultimate good, step by step we dismantle this illusion of individual self that we assume for our self, and we merge with the Supreme Self, becoming an observer of Him, a mere observer in background.

only for certain variables... think Dark City the movie, where they edit the parameters

... or, the "training" of A.I. models

if those A.I.s have some level of awareness of being edited, what does that do to their superEgo?

we really shouldn't care about the reason why god created us as he do whatever he wants, but we must be so certain that god is all knowing and he does not create things for nothing .

Who created this? Who runs this? We all want to know who to complain to😂
