I have been an atheist all my life. I have always believed that the big bang was a coincidence and that life is just a coincidence.
I am a 21-year-old man who began to observe changes in my mind over a long period of time. I began to realize that believing in the mere coincidence of the emergence of such complex designs of the universe and life in it (on earth and on other planets, yes, I believe that there is life on other planets even if primitive, but we are certainly not the only ones in the universe, because again it would just be a coincidence) is not enough for me.
There must be something/someone that we humans call god or is the universe itself a god.
I'm glad I finally started to believe in something, I never believed in god, it always seemed like fictional fairy tales just like smurfs goblins and fairies, but when you start thinking about existential thoughts, you realize that something like the creation of time and space can be as fascinating as incredible as if you imagined magic existed.
I believe in science and evolution, but at the same time I don't see it as facts that are against God but as things that are related to God.
That's why I don't take the Old Testament in the Bible as a definitive description of the origins of the human race, but I take evolution as God's project.
A Catholic once told me that faith in God and science should not contradict each other but complement each other.
I do not subscribe to any religion, but I have my own View of God and I believe that some entity exists and is responsible for such an incredible system of functioning universe.

I can understand Elon musk plight towards God, it's good to ask questions and wanting answers to life's question, and God might be taking him on a journey to understand things and hopefully Elon prevails at the end
