Sad because regrettably, all lessons on marriage from part 1 to 3 were never heard of until 5 years ago when everything was falling apart. The devil has done its damage, severely. Now, how to move on from colossal failures. At 64, i now live alone, just breathing. A church is nearby my only refuge. I know God sees me.

We attended an engaged couples retreat before getting married attended by 40+ couples. We broke out in teams to talk about things and future and with future spouse. There were 5 couples who decided this wasn't for them or postponed the marriage date. It's just not the day but a lifetime! Also temptation always comes after marriage, as an ex boyfriend or girlfriend calls but doesn't realize the person is off the market. Sometimes they don't care!

My wife wears skin tight clothing in a male dominated work place and I i asked her to wear something more modest and she refuses, she is very removed from me..im at a loss and I'm heart broken...i pray every day for us..i don't know what to do

The soft parenting thing has always bothered me and now you mentioned tolerating bad behaviour. All you have to do is give them a time out. Those tantrums and parents “talking the child through it”… they are too young to get it, and yes they can be manipulative. It’s basic psychology, and it’s not a bad thing, it’s for survival. Every time I’ve said this I’ve been shunned but happy you’re finally touching on this. Children need strong role models and to learn to be above irrational emotions, and to know they have to rationally get what they need, and that it’s safe enough

My boomer parents def dropped me off at my grandparents a few times..its not just millennials. Thats why community is important so you can have that support.

Using listening skills - with no addenda - helping him think through issues by asking open ended questions and letting go of the outcome.

Like what are the pros and cons of that? What else can you (we) do? What would be in our best interest? How would that effect… What could be the outcomes of that decision?…

I know a couple who did not DISCIPLINE their children at all. Both mother and mother-in-law were astounded at their laxity. The siblings of the parents avoided the couple due to the constant rudeness of the children. The children are now obnoxious adults, one is a complete failure who is morbidly obese, flunked out of college and lives at home, working as a nanny for his twin's offspring. He is completely emasculated. No correction, no authority leads to disastrous results that are lifelong. Spanking should not be a norm but there are some children who require it due to outrageous and sometimes dangerously, bad behavior.

What if your husband is narcissistic and emotionally abusive - dishonest, scapegoating, blameshifting, gaslighting, belitttling, irresponsible, invalidates, excuse making, rewrites history, etc - anything to silence me, use me for his destructive behaviors. What does Canon Law say about that regarding in marriage.

Please help, how to get deliverence prayer in Indonesia? Or do you translate all these videos in bahasa. I think we need it as full knowledge on marriage preparation material.
1 more, do you have any pray for parents to children who has trauma because of divorce(and or saw the father argue and abuse mother)?
