Actually, marriage is worth fighting for, I can testify. When I marry my husband we were doing well all of a sudden, his attention shifts from me to his relative to the extent that he will have to consult with them for anything before informing me. I try opposing him and things grew worst.

Then I discovered it's an attack, then I entered into prayers. I chooses not to be offended again. In the process of prayers, one day I dreamt and saw him in his cuisine house working for his wife, then I call him to leave that house, let's go and build our own home, I hold his hand and we went. I wake up and continue the prayers and to my surprise, everything comes back to normality.

Thank God that I discovered your channel again. It's strengthen me, opening my eyes more. I will continue to fight for my home.

I have remained single because my mother taught me the word of God not to divorce nor remarry because it is adultery. I had to raise my two chidren alone, they are now grown now. Prepare for difficulties in marriage. Learn how to compromise and get through problems with the person you will marry. Some days may be very sad. Some days may feel impossible. No matter what, continue obeying the gender specific roles in the bible. Continue to treat your spouse well even if you feel he or she is mistreating or taking advantage of you. Always pray for yourself and your spouse. If you do this, I believe God will step in and set things right.

I love how Erica says lets start with a word of prayer and she turns to her husband with a smile. And he as the priest of the home doesnt even hesitate. In most Kenyan families the men have relagated prayer to women. They had absconded their role as Kings and Priests. The enemy has robbed them of their confidence as the priests of their homes. Ukienda function unaskia ati " tupate mama mmoja atuombee". Not knowing that their lack of standing up as the priests has caused them to lose their moral authority over families. No wonder alcoholism and sexual pervesion is destroying Kenyan families. May God have mercy on us and restore us.

I went to short stressful period ( 3 months)and my prayer life went down. Devil came to my marriage and left my marriage scattered like a robbery site. My advice is always be in Christ, true devil is not for us but against us. I lost everything I worked for, accused and viewed like enemy. But God gave me a new start.

The devil would use poverty to break marriages, i have gone through it for a whole year no job, no money, this is the time i was depressed, i started to resent my husband. As a Nigerian child raised in a very abusive and broken home, I can outrightly say the enemy is highly invested in breaking homes. The media is a great catalyst for divorce today. And believe me you, the children suffer the most in such situations. Thank God for healing my soul wounds and I pray he heals the soul wounds of every one from an abusive or broken family.
