God gave his covenant (way, law, nomos) to the children of Israel because that is how He wanted them to live; in

Kind Sir...I believe, God called it "Holy Spirit" to be Set-Apart, from any others. IE...

1. God's "Trinity": has the Father, the Son and the 'Holy Spirit'. And God's name is Jesus for the last 2, 000 yrs (2nd Covenant). But it was "YHWH" (1st Covenant) for 1, 400 yrs before.

2. Human's "Trinity": the Heart, the Mind and the 'Soul'. But, us humans are a very small "Image" of God. So the Mind is an image of the Father; the Heart an image of the Son and the Soul is an image of the 'Holy Spirit'. And each human has a name. But they still have 3 "Manifestations" of our selves too. Isn't that awesome from Jesus?

3. Evil's trinity: the devil, the beast and the false prophet. And the evil trinity's name is satan; which was "lucifer". But, everything is opposite, from ANY thing above. Praise Jesus!

NOW the 'Soul' is to "Communicate" (when Praying) via the 'Holy Spirit'. So, the Holy Spirit can urge us, from birth, to be "Righteous". Thus, the Holy Spirit is "Set-Apart" from any other's. And that is what 'Holy' means "Set-Apart". And why God named it that way. Awesome, don't you believe!

Praise Jesus' Holy Name; who created this "Heavenly, Quintessential Miracle" of Trinities. That NO other living creature things, will ever have. Praise Jesus forever! Amen!
