I think something really overlooked is the fact they are putting actual cash in their boxes (unless I’m reading that “pull $” thing wrong)? That’s gotta be a legit federal offense. Shoes and accessories sure. But cash turns it into a casino.

I think the biggest issue, is it’s in the small print. Like if you are at an event… someone runs up to you asking if you wanna do a $300 mystery box, you naturally assume that the items are worth that value or more…

Not that are you actually entering into a “sweepstake” disguised as a mystery box.

Usually a mystery box is supposed to have an equivalent amount to the purchase of the box like a 300$ shoe or something a little bit more expensive it’s never supposed to be 1/3 of the price u purchased it for.
