Dear GCN Tech, this has nothing to do with this particular video but through your videos I have been able to fix my for 10+ years neglected bike that was driving ghostlaps in the shed. Basically, I renewed almost everything and I instantly fell in love again. Thanks very much!!

Towel and isopropyl alcohol has been perfect for removing sealant from my frame

my experience is tubeless are great on the ride (low pressures, reduced punctures) and a massive pain everywhere else (cleaning, fitting, valves clogged)
but at least everywhere else is warm and dry, so I'll stick with them

Sorry Alex you’ll never convince me to go tubeless. All the mess and hassle I’ve seen just ain’t worth it. Latex tubes are the go mate.
Peace✌🏼

A slow dribble of sealant through the sidewall is your best possible case. Speaking from experience, after a tread puncture at road pressures you'll need to buy enough of that Muc-off cleaner to take a bath in.

If you already have isopropyl alcohol, that will clean the sealant off your frame/wheels. No need for a specific cleaner.

Alex, love your extensive post-ride routine! Don’t forget to stretch your muscles too!

you spilled FULL bottle of your water on the leak. If you are 100km from home with no water - silly GCN what you gonna do ??? BONK! Maybe you should use a finger and help water work on that spill and just use much less water. Water on a bike far from home is priceless.

I didn't know this was a problem. I've used tubeless since 2015 and rarely even know I had a puncture until I replace the worn tires and see all the sealed punctures on the inside. I've never had any sealant spray out. Perhaps it's because I run 32mm tires at 55 psi?

What is the best way of removing dried sealant 'balls' from within the wheel rim itself? I can hear them rattling around even after swapping back to a tubes setup!

I didn’t know Alex has switched to the sales and marketing department. Great job Alex and great video.

Any tips for getting dried sealant off of your kit, and the backs of your calves?

IPA works to remove sealant or tubular glue(contact glue). For really tough jobs use nail polish remover on alloy, bit harsh for carbon.

How do you remove iit from the inside of a perfectly good tire?

Use finish line sealant, washes off easily, won’t spike ball your tires either.

hey alex, any chance to clean the frame with the tubeless liquid dry?, the muc off cleaner doesn't help. I'm thinking on painting my bike . from Chile.

Thanks Alex, I only run tubeless on my road bike. I wish I didn't have to, but we have an infestation of "Tribulus terrestris" or puncture vine in our area. My only other option are tires like Schwalbe Marathon Plus, which are great for touring but hellish heavy for a sport bike. If I don't use tubeless, I can count on up to 5-6 flats per week on local roads. With tubeless, none.

Whenever I hear the term "Hose Pipe", I think of a Garden Nursery where metal pipes come out of the ground, to attach a hose, used for watering growing plants that will be sold to customers.
I'm going to a place like that, this afternoon, to pay outrageous prices for quality plants.
