Yes, it use to break my hair off if I didn't moisturize my hair after using clove tea. I now mix it with rosemary tea and add a couple of drops of essential oil. 1 teaspoon of Vegetable glycerin and one tablespoon of Jamaican castor oil. Cloves is very drying naturally. Rosemary is a natural humectant. Which means it helps your absorb moisture out of the astomphere. My hair is longer and thicker in only a month. My hair was damaged I'm so happy I've been consistent on my journey. 7 years now and I'm never going back to chemicals.

I must say the reason it may break your hair because it’s not done correctly only adding it to your scalp instead of your entire hair, making the right water for example must add other herbs to the clove water like rosemary, oregano, hibiscuses etc with distilled water for 4c girls adding heat suck at steaming first or warm water spritz will help (speaking as a 4c gal myself) I’ve experienced and experimented it all but it does work if used correctly hope this helps 😊

I used clove 5 months with virgin coconut oil i soak the clove in oil after i put to my hair 3 time's a week but i do put only night all day night to my hair now i have long shine thick hair and straight than before very 😢bad hair ..so thin now im happy highly recommended cloves with virgin coconut oil or olive oil

I use black rice water mixed with some growth oils. I use it as a prepoo the night b4 my wash. I leave it on overnight...wash it out the next day. I then put my hair in boxbraids for around 6 to 8 weeks. My hair is growing like crazy. The key is to keep it in a protective style. My hair loss is the normal shedding. The growth oils mixed with some clove water. Will keep the protein from drying out your hair.

Ladies it broke off my hair when I first used it. This is what works for me on wash day deep condition, spray clove oil, put oil of choice on your hair. I use castor or wild hair growth oil. Style braids, ponytail etc. LEAVE YOUR HAIR ALONE don't use until next wash day. No need to spray daily this is powerful your hair will GROW !

I just made clove oil the main oil I put in it was JBC castor oil almond oil and rosemary oil and it has my hair smelling so good and it feels good as well! I was going to do the clove water but I said never mind because everybody saying the clove water is breaking their hair!! So I’m guessing using it with oil or in a leave in is best
