I just priced out my 2024 Silverado 3500 LT gas as a 2025 model. Same truck, $2500 more. BTW, love my truck!

Really upset that the Trail Boss package on the 2500 is just a z71 with cosmetics . The draw for the 1500 trial boss was the longer struts that have a 1&1/2 inch lift . And drove sells in that market

One thing I noticed is front parking sensors are back now for LT (every All Star package from
2020-2023 had front park sensors but they lost them for 2024) and available on Custom for the first time. That’s a nice upgrade.

Also the new style black 20” wheels are pretty nice and a hug upgrade over the current t black 20s in my opinion. But that’s very subjective.

Custom has a “Midnight” package now which is basically the previous dark essentials package plus the new style black 20s and a black bowtie for the steering wheel. Little stuff but I feel like that makes the Custom an even better bang for the buck. A Red Hot Custom Midnight Z71 with the value package that adds the park sensors and blind spot monitors would be my pick giving the current pricing and interest rate situations.

Do you happen to know if GM has created a proper fix on the Alison 10 speed as I believe even some 2024 model year trucks are suffering from an issue that ends up requiring the valve body to be replaced. From what I at least had been hearing due to that transmission being out since 2020 in the diesel only, that's where more of the issues have shown themselves and have not heard how this issue had related to the gas trucks since most would be low in miles being a 2024. It seems no matter the brand ( and that includes Toyota ) there is always something that throws a wrench into the workings !

I wish Chevy got went back to good seats. The 20 on newer are rock hard and small.
