I understood why Cleveland needed a new stadium 25 years ago. But not now. Current stadium is almost new and it paid for with tax dollars.

I'm all for taxpayers paying if they get majority of the revenue. Otherwise is useless. And each stadium should have a dome over it so that it could be used for other venues whenever the city wants to use that stadium

I'm all for a Federal law banning public funding for stadiums unless the city/state is given a percentage of the ownership commensurate with the percentage the city/state is to spend on the project.

This is crazy... No Criminal! that the public should have to fund any of this ish, without the city / public having ownership. Las Vegas was a unique situation.
