I have to tell this, I watched Hurrem again, I realized that Hurrem's era was absolutely different. Many, many powerful enemies and many, many fights, deaths, traps, mind games, making fun of her, mocking and so on. I can assure you, Hurrem Sultan is a way powerful than Kösem. Btw I didn't underestimate Kösem, I also like her.

I don't know why people forget that Safiye sultan was sent to old place in 1604and handan sultan died in 1605. Kosem came in 1604.so within a very short time just having a daughter she became the haseki and the head of the harem. On the other hand Hurrem made the title haseki in 14 years after having 6 children with Suleiman. Her mother in law also died after 14 years of Suleiman's reign. Just for Hurrem the whole royal family got the opportunity to shift in the Topkapi place.she was the first slave who married a Padishah. She broke the rule of giving birth only one child. She was the first slave to be free. She started the era of Sultanate of women. For her it was easy for the next sultansas to rule including Kosem. So you can understand that it was a totally different time. If Handan sultan lived more, Mahfiruze hatun lived more, Kosem had a toxic sister in law like hatice sultan and after having all of this she had to break all the rules and start the period of Sultanate of women, it would be way more difficult for Kosem to survive just like Hurrem. Well I'm also agree with this that Kosem was the most powerful women in Ottoman history. But according to me these two ladies can't be compared with each other because One is the creator and the other one is the best user of Sultanate of women. One had so many struggles and the other one's path was really easier. And also people are obsessed with Kosem after watching the show. While the show has so many worng informations such as Kosem tried to save Mustafa because she was scared that if Osman sits on the throne after Ahmed, he will kill her sons with Mahfiruze. She was never the mother of Sultan Osman rather she was included with halime in the death of Osman. She made two of her daughters marry at the age of 5 and 7. She killed her son Ibrahim. I Know, every Sultan wanted to kill her step son but nobody put her own child in danger like Kosem. She alwo wanted to kill her grandson to defeat Turhan. Her daughters are famous for marrying 7 and 8 times. So those who love Kosem after watching the show, I would suggest them to read the real history because they actually love the fake Kosem and they are obsessed with beren saat.

Sultan Suleyman was more powerful than sultan Ahmed but as compared to sultanas Kosem sultan always wins... She had tackled so many things when Ahmed was dead if he lived long we don't get that kosem sultana.. She wouldn't forget smiling, the innocence....
