Disney will totally regret this. Get him back! Put him in charge of everything X-Men related. I’m saying this as a fan of everything X-Men for the last 30 years.

They called him difficult only because he didn't stray away from the source material. We all know what's up in Hollywood now a days 😅😓

He probably only had onlyfans because Disney doesn’t pay good and are cheap AF! Ask anyone who’s worked for them

There's hard to work with, and there's Harvey Weinstein.

Kubrick was said to be hard to work with but you cannot argue with the results.

I think the weak people that worked under him whine and bitch about they were doing it his way, which is to stick to the ORIGINAL source material, so they went over his head and got him fired and "happens" to find his OF account. Disney already knew he was doing that shit, they just had it in their pocket just to not get much backlash. I hope Demayo finds a better gig than those 2 pervious companies.

Disney has this fantasy/squeaky clean image. X-Men '97 is AMAZING! Oh, I mean WAS amazing! 🤦🏾‍♀️

Translation he wasn’t with their “special group” and he didn’t put up with their Hollywood bs.

they really should hire him back (assuming there weren't reasons we dont know about that could be worse). i mean, as a person who grew up with (and was more or less introduced to Marvel and Stan Lee too) the X-men animated series I can feel and appreciate his love for both that cartoon and Marvel comics. Plus the guy continued to promote a show he was fired from and was very active in engaging with fan questions and theories throughout the run of the season to a point i dont think many other creatives/behind the scenes people have been up to this point. plus Gambit's "remember it" moment is the hardest ive cried since the Loki finale and that was the hardest I've ever cried at something that wasn't real life

X-Men 97 is one of the best shows of 2024. Because of it I have truly fallen in love with the X-Men now.

I never understood this "hard to work with" thing. If the guys isn't straight up disrespecting you or bring vindictive who cares if he's shooting down ideas and sticking to his vision of the project, the results speak for themselves. Alot of talented writers, musicians and directors are like that where they're perfectionists and overly attached to the project. I think the best example is how Jamie Foxx was discussing Django and how Quentin Tarantino pulled him to the side and chastised him about playing the character as a cool action hero, Jamie said it was the most difficult role and Quentin could be quite rude if you don't see what he does but when asked would he work with him again Jamie said: "absolutely, 100 percent". Same for the cast of community with Dan Harmon and the numerous musicians who worked with Frank Zappa, having a passionate genius as your boss can be tough sure but at least you know they're only trying to make the best thing possible and make sure the project will stand the rest of time

So your telling me this man pulls out a masterpiece like 97 and gets fired but some people who've been flopping since forever stay on

💀Make it make sense

It's as though companies want to punish good writers and directors instead of the bad one's.
