If only I had friends who played Pokemon

I haven’t had a good Pokémon battle since my Gen 7 days. I miss participating in double and triple battles with my family and friends, using Mega’s and Z-Moves. I wish to relive those memories with future games.

man, seeing those kids trade cards... that brought me back to elementary school.

My mom worked out in the city, and so she put me in after-school programs like the YMCA so she could travel the distance to come pick me up. All we would do before we went out to the playskate was show off our pokemon cards that we either kept in a nice card binder, or these tin foil pokemon themed containers, some of us only had our thick collection bunched up in a single rubber band. we'd trade them around. we'd pretend like we had an inkling of understanding how the card game worked before admitting to ourselves we just liked the cool drawings. And on Fridays, they would let us watch Pokemon on like a VHS tape one of the counselors had, and we would crowd around that tv cart like ants. Good times.

long ago a neighborhood kid wanted to trade a
108-in-1 game that contained a non-saving english edition of pokémon green for one of my cards… little did i know the card he took for the game was my 1st base charizard that was sealed in a hardened clear plastic case found and a few weeks later his girlfriend wanted her game back but my card was no long in his possession so i told him to go get it back or i wouldn’t return the game otherwise… when he tried, the guy told him that it wasn’t possible since it was destroyed in an attempt to remove it from the casing… so i still have the game to this day…

I can’t wait to play Pokémon with my perfectly diverse group of friends that has each race represented!
Oh, except white people obviously because I’m stunning and brave.

Pokémon in general is great, but it was designed from the beginning to encourage a social aspect. It is such a special series when you have friends and/or family to enjoy it with.

Despite its ups and downs, Pokémon means a lot to me, and stuff like this reminds me of why I'm so passionate with this franchise.

Me & My Brothers came to love Pokémon and we bonded over battling and competing in shiny hunting contests. Definitely will be Pokémoning Together for generations to come.

There may be things that aren't perfect such as some game graphics, but Pokemon has never lost its magic.

This was very wholesome.
Choose, Collect, Trade, Battle, Watch. That's what Pokémon is for, to spend it "Together" with good friends and loved oned.
What makes Pokémon special is experiencing it with friends, loved ones, and new people. And always looking forward to the next adventure no matter where it takes you.
I remember when Pokémon came out and Pokémon has never lost it's magic, sense of wonder, and exploration.
Train on my fellow Pokémon Trainers.💙

I vividly remember playing Hey You Pikachu and watched the Indigo league episodes and Mewtwo Strikes Back on VHS and Pokemon Heroes on DVD before it came to Cartoon Network. Having FrLg and Emerald on GBA and a nice collection of Pokemon cards during my childhood. Pokemon has come a long way and glad to have literally grew up with the franchise. Thank you Pokemon reminding everyone how special this IP is.
