A short guide on how to convert your video so it'll play on the Sony X-Series Walkman.

NOTE: Only follow this guide with video you can actually play on your computer. If you can't play the original file on your computer be sure to first download a codec pack. Once the file plays fine in windows media player (if you're on windows) then continue with this guide.

@agumonkk You're very welcome :).
Sony make such awesome products but they fail so much on the software side, so I thought I'd help out all the other lucky people out there with a X-Series Walkman, because that OLED screen deserves good video.
On a different note, I only just realized how sick I was when I made this video, I probably should have waited ;P.

@agumonkk Rather than changing the resolution I'd try the other encoder (FFmpeg instead of x264), that should work, and if it doesn't, you could always go 431x240 or something like that, no need to change the resolution that much.
And about the auto conversion, I'm kinda doubting you would get good quality with that. I've never had good results (unfortunately).

naw, i think it was good. oh and btw, sometimes setting the resolution to 432 x 240 doesnt work with certain videos. in those instances set the res to 320 x 240 and it usually solves the problem. or if you have windows 7, dragging and dropping the vid into the x1000's video folder will give you the option to convert it automatically; however, it takes longer than using Handbrake and im not too sure how good the quality will be.
