I always paint the edges before I roll the wall to get more of the roller nap look on the wall. I use the stem side of the roller ans roll the edges if I need to blend.

Any thoughts?

Kode - Many people forget what they learned and just show themselves working . Your vids give the not obvious tips people need, yet you manage not to make short. Thank you - excellent job.

On second glance...looks like the wall and ceiling are the same color...so good job spending the time with the slow precise cut... efficient

I personally use a tiny brush for the edges. I roll super close. Leaving a tiny space. Than just use a tiny brush so you have much control to make a fast clean line. Plus that makes it so you can roll + cut in at the same time. Making a perfect even blend when it sets. With minimal brush stroke. With a small soft bristle brush you see no strokes.

I assume you cut the compound with water to get the consistency you want. I assume that the thinner the layer, the more you want to thin the mud. I would like short vid showing mud cutting and mixing practices as many vids don't focus much on this.

I know it's been a while, but again, thank you - excellent vids.

Who the hell would want those lines on the ceiling what’s the reason for them ?

so, the title says "fast"... But you did it slowly. don't you need a bigger brush? seems a bigger brush would move quicker and hold more paint.

Was this slow motion or something? Come on bro, faster the steadier the hand is. When Slow like that is all shaky.. no way to keep straight line.
