Why is the level of noise before you turn on the ANC MUCH higher on the Sony than on the Bose? It almost sounds like the volume of the recording of the Sony is higher.

Correction they are over the ear headphones not earbuds I have the Bose ultra ear buds and they are amazing.

Hi, I’m having an issue with my QuietComfort Ultra headphones. When I walk or run, I hear a ‘pop’ sound in both ear cups, even with ANC on or off. I’ve seen several threads on forums where people mention the same problem. Could it be that my headphones are defective, or is this a common issue with this model?

Do the bose have a strange crackling or jangling sound jn the earcups when walking or doing head movements or running? Also how are the bose with glasses and does it affect the noise cancelling? Are the bose uncomfotable woth glasses?

Sony anc was superior but i don't know if xm5 still have bloated muddy bass like xm4 or not....

It's other _people, _ especially noisy kids and babies that bug me. Do they work well with high pitched noises like those?

WF-1000xM5 ANC barely does any noise cancelling. It only slightly cancels high frequencies. Why is ANC so weak on the XM5? My old $20 earbuds have much stronger ANC.

I’ll not buy Bose anymore… second time I pay almost $300.00 to have the left ear bud stop working on both sets and Bose’s only solution to replace them for another 214.00!

It’s interesting how everyone is talking about Bose Ultra ANC, but no one seems to mention it's sound quality. Spoiler alert: it’s bad. I own a Sony XM5, and my brother recently bought a Bose Ultra. It was a disappointment because overall it sounds muffled and lacks punchy bass. He regrets his purchase wishing he had opted for the Sony XM5 instead. Before buying, make sure to test the devices and ideally compare with other models to avoid any surprises. Keep in mind that video reviews may not always provide the full picture.
