I have autism, extreme hypersensitivity to sound and kids. These are the only thing that help me regulate my life. While they COULD be better, I’m so thankful to have something to shut out the world when I need to. And yes, they are a little too bassy

The noisecancelling is amazing, I don't have to hear my wife anymore.

I have these as well as the over ear QC Ultra. They are the best I’ve owned except for THREE design and functional issues. No Multipoint is the biggest but I purchased them knowing that. No Wireless Charging, again I knew that before my purchase. The third is that they are a royal pain to get out of the case. I also have the USB-C AirPods Pro and the Bose QC Utra buds sound superior IMHO. I don’t think they are too bass heavy. Maybe you’re getting to that “Get Off My Lawn” age😂😂. Just kidding I’m 63

I bought these since I travel a lot for work and I absolutely love them. If they broke I would buy then again

Love it! Especially on immersion mode+ASMR! Also, this works while lying on a pillow. It won't activate the sensors even if you twist and turn

With which EQ settings in Bose Music App did you get the closest ideal curve ?. Would be great if you could share that. Thankyou

I have been using Bose headphones and earbuds for years now. As for the earbuds I have had the Bose Soundsport, and Quiet Comfort earbuds. I have been very loyal to Bose but the Samsung Buds2pro and Sony Xm4 made me realize how terrible the call quality is for Bose earbuds. Because of that I didn't get the Quiet Comforts 2. However, a few weeks ago I decided to buy the Ultra earbuds and these are my takeaways after 2 weeks of heavy usage.

1. As usual with Bose Earbuds, the noise cancelation and music sound quality is amazing. You will not hear the outside world at all and the music sounds very rich. I don't think the bass is heavy for the most part, but the one problem that Bose can't seem to get right is that when the volume is set to the maximum level, the sound does get a bit muddy and the music kind of has this piercing affect to the ear drums which is very uncomfortable. So I listen normally 1 level below the max.

2. It's very comfortable and won't come off of your ears. I used it in the gym and ran a few miles with it. Even with the sweat, buds are secure.

3. Call quality sucks, like really bad. The person on the other end of the phone can hear everything in your background. Nothing goes unnoticed to them in your background. My friend complains of how noisy my background is but she never did when I was using my Samsung earbuds. Also, the volume is very low in comparison to other earbuds. It's a struggle to hear the person on the other end.

4. The connectivity is absolutely terrible! I've never used earbuds that was this bad with staying connected to my phone. Not even the previous iterations were this bad. They often go in and out and sometimes I'll permanently lose connection. I often have to take the buds out, put it back in the case just to get it to reconnect. It's even worse when I'm in the city (midtown and downtown nyc). Even with the most recent firmware update from a few days ago didn't really address the issue. There was even a time where I put the earbuds back in the case and oddly enough the earbuds stayed connected even though the case was closed. It was annoying because I was trying to switch to my Bose 700s for a call.

Overall, like the reviewer mentioned, for the first time ever I wouldn't recommend a Bose earbud product. For the $300 price tag it just feels like an unfinished product. However, I love the music quality, fit, and noise cancelation so much that I will keep them. Purchased mine from Best Buy with the 2 year warranty at full price. So I'm going to return my current pair for a new pair as they are now on sale for $250 with the black friday deal. And maybe the next pair won't have some of the issues I mentioned above. Sorry for the long review. Lol

Had these for 4 months now.
I can say the bass is immaculate👌
ANC is literally god tier 👑
Music sounds exquisite 👍
The best fit and comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
I can agree there is connection issues here and there.
My personal opinion they beat AirPods Pro 2, beats earbuds as well. I’ve been hunting for earbuds forever. Very happy with these.
Yes they definitely do have its flaws but nothing for me is a deal breaker.

Just purchased these on a military shopping site for 211! Can't wait to get them in! Now I will be using this for when I'm out and about or traveling but I'm also looking at getting the sennheiser momentum 4 buds when they are out for pre order for around the house and also going out into town. Wish you guys had them in for a full in depth review on those.

Honestly, the graph is only a point of reference. It's not a big deal.

They still sound great. They're not muddy. It's actually consumer friendly. People talk about codecs but honestly, research have shown it's not a big deal. (Over the age 30 on avg).

STATIC SOUND: I have this weird issue with the left bud that has a static noise playing when in quiet mode and not playing music
HACK: I figured that if you touch the earbuds on your ear and let that custom tune play out before inserting it fully that helps

Do you have that problem??? and technical explaination??? does the hack work for you??

This is an amazing straightforward review ❤ Thank u. I have an AirPod pro 2 and I was thinking of getting Bose for the better ANC feature, but I am reconsidering after this video. It worth 20k in my country and I think it’s way too expensive for what it’s offering.

I just bought these earbuds, and I have compared them to my 5.1 Harmon Kardon surround sound speaker system and my Bose 700 over-ear phones. You simply could not be more wrong in claiming that the Bose QC II Ultra Earbuds are "too bassy!" That is an absurd claim! These earbuds capture the full range of the bass arguably better than my over-ear Bose 700s and competitively with my surround sound speakers (which have exquisite sound and range). I invite you to listen to Manheimer Steamroller's stunning orchestral song, "Christmas Lullaby." The song's vast audio range has the most delicate isolated high-end tenor instruments, and then abruptly adds massive bass to accentuate the apex of the song. The QC II Ultra earbuds handle this song with accuracy and dexterity and beauty only surpassed by high-end multi-speaker systems. Manheimer's Christmas lullaby PURPOSELY unleashes an incredible bass range at the song's peak bridge that takes a well-tuned subwoofer to reproduce in speaker systems - as I said, it is massive. The QC II Ultra earbuds do a stunning job of accurately reproducing this low-end bass accent instrumental in the song. It doesn't match the actual range of a tuned subwoofer, but it does an AMAZING job, considering that these are tiny earbud speakers.

You are just flat-out wrong, and you should apologize profusely to everyone in your audience for your gross incompetence in reviewing these earbuds! They realistically compete with the over-ear Bose 700s, which have some of the best, most accurate audio reproduction of any over-ear headphones, sans $10, 000 specialist audiophile headphones! That is a stunning accomplishment!

I just got these. They are incredible. Its baffling how far technology has come. The noise cancelation and the sound is unreal. Worth every penny!

It depends on the individual themselves. I've noticed younger people can handle base better and they tend to like base more. Older people tend to dislike base more. I've noticed other people in the comments completely disagreeing saying they are so into base and it's just the right amount of base in the earbuds. It just depends on the person themselves. I know a friend who really recommends these. I think when we're shopping we tend to be more particular and/or selective when buying things because we don't want to buy something expensive and be let down.
