I’ve been a penny shopper for several years and it takes time and research. It’s not that easy. DG’s inventory is always off due to back stock. It’s a search and find in store, but knowing what you are looking for. There is a method to the madness lol! Thank you for sharing though, not trying to discredit your video!

it may be shown in the store in stock but they may pull it already off the shelf but still in their inventory is basically how the employees and managers run the store the store each week get a pull list items get clearance out weekends may be your best bet to find items before their pull list comes up

Thanks for sharing Shane. Glad you are doing content again. I hope you are well. I got frustrated looking for R/A and had little success with Brickseek. Especially for Walmart. God knows where the inventory was in Walmart's. Just curious why the app doesn't work any more? Btw BJ's is a wholesale club similar to Sam's or Costco.. I believe they are mostly in the Northeast.

Just go dumpster dive and get the penny items free.. or u can just get the pennylist for free from one the tubers that put out the penny list for free.. and then its up u to travel and look for them. I think penny shoppers like going to the store and find its a thrill...for them like couponing and dd is for lot.

I’ve noticed dollar generals app is never really accurate when it comes to showing if stuff is in stock or not. So does it sync with the same info that is already available on the app now? Just watched this video, thanks for sharing it because I always forget about brick seek!

Home Depot in my area doesn't sell penny items. So you can find one, get to the register only to find they won't sell it.

Hey Shane. I remember when you traveled through Illinois going to the Game Stops. The Dollar General in my town is closing soon, and moving to a new location down the street that is currently being built and is scheduled to open Sep. 12. I would like to be able to know when the old store has the big "remodel" penny sale on a Sunday, but not sure how to find that out. They already got rid of all the refrigerated and frozen food. I have used their app -- confirming penny item is there. NOT, DG does not keep it current. It may show 16 items, you are there in less than a minute AND there are zero items. Don't trust app.
