Man stops paying taxes, citing 1878 state constitution

David Darby says under Washington’s 1878 State Constitution, he does not have to pay property taxes because of his land patent for his property.

If you have to pay taxes on something you own, you never owned it and never will. If you have to continue paying for something for it to remain in your posession, youre renting it. You do not own it.

Title 18 USC sec. 2381....States are not allowed to pass any law that contradicts the Constitution , if they do it's a capital felony / treason and is punishable by execution.

I’ve never understood why someone has to pay taxes to the government for something that belongs to that person. I don’t see the government paying me taxes for the land that they own.

He is absolutely correct. No one knows the real law. State constitutional law says no person is supposed to pay taxation of land. YOU ARE A LIVING BEING, NOT A CORPORATION- YOUR NAME IN CAPS IS A CORPORATION. Research ppl, stop believing what you’re told!!!

If I cant pay my mortgage the government doesn’t step in and pay it for me. So why do they feel entitled to any of it when I sell it? Makes no sense!

If he has a land patent, he should pay no taxes. It is allodial title - Absolute ownership.

This man needs to claim title 18 sec. 242, & 241 & f be a state national and file criminal charges against all the public servants involved. This man is totally correct. You don't own something you have to keep paying someone so you can use it, including your automobile... We have God given RIGHTs, and a constitution that was put into PLACE to protect those rights, ANY law that goes against those rights are NOT law, and are unconstitutional and the public servants enforcing color of law are committing CRIMES against WE the PEOPLE

What a ridiculous procedure, pay off your home, then have to set aside the equivalent of a mortgage payment to save for property taxes! Why are we still going through this in 2022??? I hope this man triumphs, and set the path for the rest of us!
